In the scripture, Genesis 3: 1 – 13, the serpent tricked Eve to eat from the Tree of knowledge, and she gave in and gave her husband to eat. Immediately their eyes opened, and they knew they were both naked and hid from God.

Their fall was a result of disobedience. They eat the forbidden fruit God has commanded them not to and, as a result, driven out from the garden of Eden and judgment pronounced on them by God

The man was responsible for his fall because he has listened to the women and eat the forbidden God commanded them not to eat. So, the man’s fall resulted from not listening to the word or commandment of God as written in Genesis 3: 17
